Eligibility for GNM Admission

• Passed 10+2 with English from a recognised board
• Minimum 40% marks in qualifying examination and in English individually
• Science is preferred
• Eligible recognised open-school and NIOS candidates may also apply
• Other eligible routes include:
  • 10+2 Vocational ANM or Health Care Science with English and 40% marks
  • Registered ANM candidates with pass marks
• Minimum age: 17 years on 31 December of the admission year
• Must be medically fit
• SC/ST candidates eligible for 5% marks relaxation as per Indian Nursing Council
• Admission subject to State Government, Nursing Council and admission-authority rules

Prepare originals for verification and self-attested copies of the following:

• Completed admission application form
• Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
• Transfer or school leaving certificate and character certificate
• Migration certificate (where required)
• Aadhaar card
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
• Domicile or residence certificate (where required)
• Category, EWS, disability and income certificates (where applicable)
• Entrance examination scorecard and counselling or allotment letter (where applicable)
• ANM qualification and registration certificate (for ANM eligibility route)

Eligibility for BSc Nursing Admission

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised board
• Minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• Pass in English individually
• For SC/ST/OBC candidates: Minimum 40% PCB aggregate (subject to applicable reservation rules)
• Eligible NIOS Science candidates may apply after meeting required subject and marks criteria
• Minimum age: 17 years on 31 December of the admission year
• Must be medically fit
• Admission through applicable entrance examination and counselling process
• Subject to State Government, university and Indian Nursing Council requirements
